Garden State Quilt Challenge 2026-2027

Bring your Challenge to the June 14, 2027 Meeting

 

 

The theme for the 2026/2027 challenge is CELEBRATION.   The challenge for this year is to create a quilted item of your choice

that "celebrates" something important to you.

 

You can celebrate—

A holiday (Christmas, Chanukah, Halloween, Easter, Juneteenth, Chinese New Year, etc.)

A person (a hero/heroine, relative, historical figure, teacher, inspirational figure, etc.)

A milestone (anniversary, achievement, retirement, buying a first house, etc.)

A work of art (painting, sculpture, film, book, photo, etc.)

A pet or other animal

A special place

An event of personal or historical importance to you

An object you love (favorite piece of clothing, household appliance, your sewing machine,  your lucky number, etc.)

 

As usual, the kind of project you choose for your celebration challenge is up to you. Find joy in the making of something you celebrate!
