Block of the Month 2011-2012

Paper Piecing  Explorations

This season we're going to be paper piecing so if you first need to brush up your skills or learn something new click here for a handout of websites and videos to get you started.

The paper piecing project will provide some special block patterns and guidelines with the only proviso being to have fun, experiment, and embrace your inner color wheel!

We will be presenting both easy and challenging paper-pieced blocks. (We need to keep the experienced paper-piecers also entertained! And the daredevil beginners among with your adrenaline flowing.)

The finished size for all the blocks is 13". Big enough to turn easily into a table trivet or a placemat or an accent pillow. Nice easy gifts for yourselves or friends and just in time for Christmas.
