Paper Piecing Explorations
This season we're going to be
paper piecing so if you first need to brush up your skills or learn something
new click here for a handout of websites and videos to get you started.
The paper piecing project will provide some special block patterns and guidelines with the only proviso being to have fun, experiment, and embrace your inner color wheel!
We will be presenting both easy and challenging paper-pieced blocks. (We need to keep the experienced paper-piecers also entertained! And the daredevil beginners among with your adrenaline flowing.)
The finished size for all the blocks is 13". Big enough to turn easily into a table trivet or a placemat or an accent pillow. Nice easy gifts for yourselves or friends and just in time for Christmas.

Block of the Month 2010-2011
UrbanAmish Townhomes
The
2010-2011 Blocks of the Month will include a variety of house blocks
with a finished size of 16". They are entirely made up of squares,
half-square triangles, half-rectangle-square units or Quarter-squares
measuring 2 1/2.
